A unique collaboration between multi media artist Christo and singer Marc Massive from the band Massive Ego, two kindred spirits. Christo's art illustrates extreme mental states, unconventional ideas, and elaborate fantasy worlds. For many reasons, Christo prefers to remain outside the "art world" mainstream. Despite this, recent projects have included painting the album art for several high-profile bands including Youth (Killing Joke) and The Orb. Her forays into music have previously resulted in collaborations with Glenn Gregory (Heaven 17) and Countess M (Nature of Wires) Marc Massive has fronted the UK electro gothic synth band Massive Ego since 1996, which recently signed to German label Out Of Line and last year released the EP 'Noise in The Machine' and are currently writing and recording their debut album for the label due early 2017. Marc's fellow band member Scot Collins adds synths and electronic guitar to the track.
Released 1st December 2016.

Previously un-released Matt Pop Remix of a track from the Oct 2014 Low Life EP release.
We're releasing this remix exclusively on Bandcamp and donating all profits from it's sale to the Norton Animal Rescue Foundation set up by Gary Edwards in 2010 to help the stray dogs of the world, particularly in places like Romania and the Philippines where sadly stray dogs endure a horrific existence facing cruelty and death everyday. The foundation helps to rescue and provide veterinary assistance to abused dogs as well as the important task of rehoming the animals in their forever home, often flying them to new owners in the UK. Please follow their valuable work here
Public Disordar Records are pleased to be able to support Gary and the foundations work and be associated with animal welfare through our releases. We'd like to thank Michael Higgins for his continued support, and Matt Pop for donating his incredible remixing talent for free on this remix. Check out more of his work here.

The pairing of electro-popsters Massive Ego with Ireland's finest purveyors of new wave synth Empire State Human, bears fruit with the release of their debut EP collaboration. Following on from their up-tempo pop single release Sound Of The Download last year with a club remix package released stateside early this year, the new EP features title track Low Life, a dark and grandiose drama tinged pop ballad featuring guest vocals from Maggie K Demonde singer with 80's pop band Scarlet Fantastic who's track No Memory was a big top 20 chart hit back when pop ruled the airwaves. The lead track comes with three credible mixes. On remix duties People Theatre (aka Peter Rainman / Adan & Ilse) deliver a big pop club dance floor friendly make-over, whilst Croatian artist Zarkoff goes down a minimal synth route true to his own releases with his band Florence Foster Fan Club and newer incarnation Sumerian Feat. Keyboard maestro Logan Sky, who fresh from writing, recording and touring with the latest line-up of 80's synth pioneers Visage, brings an experimental edge to the remix table. There's two new tracks included on the EP, Animal Rights Human Wrongs a modern take on the 'animal rights song' genre which pulls no punches in its naming and shaming of fur wearing celebs and the fashion industry. Reigning In The Machines meanwhile questions our reliance on all things mechanical. Plastic Toy From China is lead singer Marc Massive's first foray into sampling sounds over a weekend period and resulting in a short experimental musical interlude again with animal rights as it's theme. Rounding up the EP is a previously un-released original longer version of Sound Of The Download.

There is a war taking place against animals across the globe right now. Mankind is inflicting pain, suffering and death on a colossal and unrelenting scale and showing no signs of compassion towards our fellow sentient beings. Through unethical mass meat and dairy farming practices, fur farming, government organised culls of badgers, foxes, stray cats and dogs and dolphin and whale culls.
imprisonment of animals in circuses, zoos and aquariums where animals are kept against their will and forced to live in un-natural surrounds simply as entertainment. Endangered species are fast disappearing from a planet we all share due to the greed of man, poaching ivory for financial gain at a rate that can no longer be sustained. Humanity is to blame and there is no kind in man
and this war against animals has to stop now. Our choice of weapon is song. We need to educate future generations to value and respect our animal neighbours and tell their governments and leaders that this animal holocaust can not continue.
You can help us by sharing this song, playing it loud and ultimately becoming vegan and respecting the wildlife around you.
This song aims to raise awareness whilst all proceeds from it’s sale will be donated to two charities that have animal welfare as their goal, Saving strays in Sarajevo and The Mayhew Animal Home in the UK.

Posthumous re-issue on Public Disordar Records of the debut and only album release by Eddie Orange Dasher aka Steady. His album Vain Glorious was completed prior to his death and released only as a limited edition run and given to the mourners at his funeral.
Public Disordar Records are proud to be releasing this stunning album to a wider audience for the first time , and released on the 9th Anniversary of his passing (or as Steady referred to it in song, being 'Over the Moon', on Saturday 10th May 2014.
All profits from its sale being donated to the Soi Dog Foundation charity in Thailand to help continue their work in rescuing and saving stray dogs in that country, Steady was a dog and animal lover and supported rescue charities abroad hence we think this foundation would have his approval.
Eddie Orange Dasher (Steady) was a gifted musician and artist working in the fields of music & art. His larger than life personality and character saw him become a member of Leigh Bowery's legendary art rock band Minty in the 90's followed by The Off Set, Sexton Ming & Steady, as well as forming several bands himself such as Elizabeth Bunny, Sweetie and As If which also gets it's debut release on Public Disordar on 28th April 2014, as well as being a member of Massive Ego.
Prior to his death, Steady had begun experimenting in the then fairly new medium of digital art, and using himself as a palette, creating exotic, colourful and sometimes extreme 'looks' which helped bring many a nightclub to life with his attendance. This creative and talented force left this mortal coil far to early and we feel the world needs to remember and hear his work with fresh ears and for a new generation of 'club kids' to discover & cherish.

As a prelude to the Vain Glorious album release by Eddie Orange Dasher (Steady) on Public Disordar to mark the 9th Anniversary of his passing, we are also excited to be releasing for the first time his AS IF project and the GOD SAVE (EP).
AS IF was the short lived project of Eddie Orange Dasher (Steady) and fellow club kid scenester Trixie Bellair formed in 2004 with their first ever gig at the Vauxhall Tavern for the ‘Stars In Your Eyes’ night and culminating with now legendary PA’s in London clubs such as Cafe De Paris, Browns and even a gig for Sony Dreamcast Consoles in Japan. Sadly this project never saw a release till now and to celebrate it’s 10th Anniversary it’s being released digitally for the very first time.
Featuring the gay-ified punk Pistols classic ‘God Save The Queen’s’ piss take which could be adopted as today’s anti Vladimeer Putin anthem in the current Russian homophobic climate, to the tongue in cheek comment on the Jeremy Kyle chav generation in ‘Chip Pan Fire’ a track that has found it’s way into the heart and DJ box of DJ club legend Princess Julia and is highly sought after. To the chilled ambient led and alcohol fuelled rambling answering machine messages on ‘Lot’s of Things Moving on the Skyline’ these tracks are as fresh and relevant today as they were 10 year’s ago.
All proceeds from the sale of this EP will go to C.H.A.T the Celia Hammond Animal Trust charity in Lewsham who rescue and re-home cats, a charity close to Trixie’s heart.
Release 28th April 2014
